What You’ll Do

As an Engineering Manager for our confidential client you will lead cross-functional technical teams to deliver advanced manufacturing and product development solutions. You will combine hands-on technical leadership with people and project management to drive innovation and production capability.

  • Lead design, development, and deployment of complex control systems, robotics, Industry 4.0 technologies, and AI/ML-enabled solutions.
  • Oversee mechanical design, prototyping, and equipment development for high-speed converting and packaging systems.
  • Translate R&D innovations into scalable manufacturing processes; create technical specifications and optimize production lines.
  • Drive instrumentation, metrology and precision measurement strategies to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Sponsor robotics integrations and machine vision implementations to increase automation and throughput.
  • Build long-term technical capability, champion digital adoption, and ensure HS&E and quality compliance.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and supplier qualifications; communicate status and technical tradeoffs to stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor engineers and technical staff to accelerate capability building and career development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Materials Science, Packaging Science, Environmental, Civil).
  • 0–5 years of relevant experience (includes internships, co-ops, research, or academic experience).
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and technical curiosity.
  • Demonstrated project mindset: ability to lead projects, manage schedules and budgets, and deliver results.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across operator, engineering, and leadership levels.
  • Willingness to relocate as career development requires; relocation support may be available for qualifying candidates.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10–25% as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with industrial PLCs (Rockwell), process/machine control, sensors, motors, industrial automation, or industrial networks.
  • Hands-on experience with robotics, machine vision, or programming (Python, LabVIEW, Java, C#).
  • Mechanical systems engineering experience (3D CAD, CAE, machine design, mechatronics).
  • Experience in R&D, technical centers, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Specific expertise in packaging materials/processes and precision instrumentation/metrology.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Employment type: Full time.
  • Salary range (provided by source): $85,000 - $122,200 per year.
  • Relocation: candidates should be open to relocation during career progression; relocation support may be available.
  • Immigration sponsorship: not available for this role.
