Overview

Confidential Client seeks recent engineering graduates to join an entry-level Engineering Development Program (EDP). This one-year, structured rotational program accelerates technical and professional growth through hands-on projects, mentorship, and cross-functional experience across manufacturing, design, quality, and facilities engineering in automotive manufacturing.


What You’ll Do

  • Participate in a structured one-year rotational program with 2–4 assignments across different engineering functions
  • Complete meaningful, full-time engineering work that supports manufacturing, development, and operations
  • Use technical problem solving and data analysis to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency
  • Support equipment/tooling design, facilities projects, market quality analysis, or product design depending on rotation
  • Present project outcomes to leadership and collaborate across functions to implement countermeasures and improvements
  • Follow a customized development plan and work with assigned mentors to build technical skills and professional networks

Program Locations

This posting covers multiple openings; this specific listing is for Lincoln, AL. Other possible program locations that may be hired under the same program include Greensburg, IN, and several sites in Ohio.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET or ATMAE accredited program (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Computer Science Engineering, Welding, or related engineering majors)
  • Less than 2 years of professional engineering work experience
  • 3 months of relevant co-op or internship experience preferred
  • Willingness to rotate across functions and worksites, learn quickly, and collaborate across teams
  • Strong analytical mindset and disciplined work ethic

Preferred / Helpful Skills

  • Hands-on problem solving and familiarity with manufacturing environments
  • Basic experience with data analysis, CAD, or engineering project work
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and build cross-functional relationships

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base pay: $58,902 per year (estimated)
  • Paid overtime (where applicable)
