What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Engineering Associate role on the professional Engineer license track supporting structural design projects. You will apply basic to intermediate engineering principles to produce calculations, drawings, reports, and coordinate project deliverables. Responsibilities include:
- Prepares and reviews design computations, plans, and drawings
- Reviews submittals and coordinates project submissions
- Prepares and reviews specifications, client correspondence, and technical reports
- Completes inspections and field work assignments as needed
- Researches, interprets, and applies regulations, code requirements, and permit criteria to projects
- Maintains project documentation and recordkeeping
- Applies applicable Codes and Standards to project designs
- Produces technically accurate, clean, and deliverable drawings
- Follows and supports quality assurance / quality control processes to reduce errors and omissions
- Manages assigned work to stay within project budgets
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (ABET-accredited) or related discipline
- 0–3 years of related engineering experience (entry-level)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Proficiency or coursework/experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, InRoads, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar tools
- Comfortable expanding technical skills and taking on new responsibilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Compensation & Employment Details
- Employment type: Full-time
- Salary range: $54,000 – $81,000 per year (listed by the hiring organization)
- Location: Lime Rock / Lititz area, Pennsylvania (onsite or hybrid as defined by the client)
