Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Engineering Analyst to support nuclear plant engineering and operations in Streator, IL. This full-time, entry-level friendly role performs technical and engineering support tasks under direct supervision and contributes to safe, compliant plant operations.

What You’ll Do

• Perform assigned engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet safety analyses, industry codes, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Support nuclear engineering work functions and participate in process and technique implementation.
• Assist with emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as needed.
• Work under direct supervision, following established programs, policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Note: This Analyst role can be filled at Entry level. See the level-specific minimums below.

• Associate Engineering Analyst / E01 (Entry-level):
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non-engineer) OR
  • Associate’s degree in a technical field plus a minimum of 1 year nuclear or related industry experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED plus a minimum of 2 years nuclear experience
• Must maintain any required site access or unescorted access approvals and pass applicable medical examinations/testing.
• Ability to work on-site in Streator, IL; may require overtime or participation in outages and emergency response.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated pay (site estimate): $63,323 per year.
• Employer-stated expected salary for Entry Level: $76,000 per year.
