Position Overview

Confidential Client, a leader in power generation and clean energy, is hiring an Engineering Analyst to support nuclear plant operations in Minooka, IL. This entry-level-friendly role performs technical engineering tasks under direct supervision and supports engineering functions that ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and reliable plant performance.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assure engineering products meet applicable safety analyses, industry codes, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform assigned engineering and technical tasks to support plant operations
  • Provide support for nuclear engineering work functions and related technical activities
  • Participate in implementation of processes and techniques in compliance with established programs, policies, and procedures
  • Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as needed
  • Complete other assignments as directed by management consistent with company policy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non-engineer) OR
  • Associate degree in a technical field plus a minimum of 1 year of nuclear or related industry experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED plus a minimum of 2 years of nuclear experience
  • Maintain any required site access (including unescorted access) and favorable medical examination/testing as applicable to the role
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to perform on-site duties in Minooka, IL

Compensation & Benefits

  • Target entry-level base: $76,000 per year (ranges vary by experience)
  • Third‑party estimate shown on source: ~$61,447 per year
