Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring Mechanical Engineers at multiple levels (Entry, Mid, Senior) to support engineering activities for power generation assets. You will perform technical engineering analyses, manage engineering tasks, and support safe, reliable plant operations. This role is based in Chester Springs, PA.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analyses, activities and programs.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment and system problems; offer technical consultation and recommendations.
  • Manage engineering tasks from scoping through implementation, ensuring configuration control and code compliance.
  • Perform independent research, studies and analyses supporting technical projects and capital programs.
  • Recommend design or material changes to improve performance, reduce cost, or ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Support outage activities, emergency response, and departmental coverage as needed.

Qualifications

  • Entry Level (E01)

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear).
    • Ability to meet and maintain site minimum access or unescorted access requirements and any required medical/fitness standards.
  • Mid Level (E02)

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) plus ~2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
    • Ability to meet and maintain site minimum access or unescorted access requirements and any required medical/fitness standards.
  • Senior Level (E03)

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) plus ~5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
    • Ability to meet and maintain site minimum access or unescorted access requirements and any required medical/fitness standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Nuclear Modification Design Process.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Advanced technical degree or relevant graduate coursework.
  • Experience with plant systems engineering and regulatory codes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Expected salary ranges (based on level):
    • Entry-Level — $87,000 / year
    • Mid-Level — $92,700 – $114,000 / year
    • Senior Level — $122,400 – $154,000 / year

Location & Additional Requirements

  • Work location: Chester Springs, PA (on-site at relevant facilities as required).
