What You’ll Do

  • Assist with planning, design, and preparation of construction documents for commercial and land development projects.
  • Work directly with licensed Professional Engineers on site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, roads, and parking design.
  • Prepare engineering drawings and reports using AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
  • Perform engineering calculations and support project planning and coordination.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and municipal review staff.
  • Gain hands-on experience through construction administration while preparing for your PE license.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: $75,000+ (estimated $76,003 per year shown) plus a 5% bonus opportunity.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • ~1+ year of AutoCAD drafting/design experience from school, internships, or work.
  • Desire to obtain Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification and progress to Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to collaborate on multidisciplinary teams.
