Position overview

This Engineer I — Process Engineer role will support repair operations and process development for turbine hardware at the Confidential Client’s airfoil repair operation serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role is primarily onsite in Cedar Hill, TX and focuses on improving repair processes, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting new repair capability development using approved technical data.

  • Onsite role — U.S. citizenship is required to perform duties tied to this program/contract.
  • Security clearance: Not required.

What You’ll Do

  • Support daily repair operations and resolve engineering-related production issues, including dispositioning discrepant material.
  • Perform root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to improve yield and reliability.
  • Analyze production and repair data to support new repair development and prepare customer reports as needed.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase productivity and expand capabilities.
  • Work on multi-disciplinary teams to ensure repairs meet safety, durability, and quality requirements per approved technical data.
  • Research new technologies and evaluate implementation scope for growth projects or equipment procurement.
  • Create or update standard work / operation sheets for new or revised processes.
  • Represent the team with internal and external customers as required.

Qualifications — Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
  • U.S. citizenship (required for program/contract access).

Qualifications — Preferred

  • Prior internship, co-op, or work experience in aerospace, MRO, or engine repair environments.
  • Experience in Disassembly, Assembly and Test (DAT) or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) supporting aircraft engines or similar systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data, repair manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Organizational and project-management skills (PMP preferred).
  • LEAN, Continuous Improvement and/or Six Sigma training or experience.
  • Experience with SAP ERP, Solumina MES, or similar maintenance/engineering systems.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $57,200 — $108,800 USD (good-faith estimate covering all experience levels).
