Confidential Client is seeking motivated, adaptable early-career engineers to join their teams across project-focused groups. This entry-level Engineer I role supports field coordination, basic engineering tasks, and detailed design assistance across proposal, estimating, procurement, and construction phases. The role typically involves travel and mobility for project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic engineering tasks and calculations under supervision to support project design and execution across multiple phases (proposals, estimating, procurement, detailed design, construction).
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure coordination, compliance with standards, and customer requirements.
• Assist in reviewing vendor documentation, validating field conditions, and resolving site issues.
• Interface with operating group partners and customers to gather technical data and recommend solutions.
• Contribute to detailed design work and support senior engineers on project deliverables.
• Follow business standards, quality control procedures, and engineering policies.
• Support team-based tasks while also completing assigned individual work.

Project Assignment

You will be placed into one of several groups aligned with your interests and evolving organizational priorities. Project placement promotes professional growth and broad exposure to strategic initiatives.

Example groups (not exhaustive):

• Electrical / Computer Engineering: Battery storage, Wind, Solar, System Studies, SCADA, Substation Protection & Controls, Substation Physical/Application, EV / Microgrid.
• Civil / Structural Engineering: Substation structural, Pile design, Transmission line, Civil grading.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or related major by summer 2027.
• Applicable mathematical skills.
• Willingness to be mobile / relocate frequently for project assignments based on business needs.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship (Confidential Client is not offering sponsorship for this position).

• Previous related internship experience.
• Basic understanding of construction and common business practices.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; shows initiative.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base compensation range: $78,800 - $98,500 per year.
• This position is eligible for a potential annual bonus. Base pay is positioned within the range based on factors including knowledge, skill, experience, and internal equity.
