Overview

Confidential Client (Engineering) is hiring an Engineer (levels I, II, III or Principal) to support engineering, operations and maintenance initiatives. This role may be assigned on-site, remote (telecommute), or hybrid — the client will determine the final work arrangement. The position focuses on routine to complex engineering assignments, problem identification and resolution, and supporting larger engineering projects.


What You’ll Do

  • Identify opportunities for process, method, and cost improvements.
  • Gather, correlate, and analyze engineering data using established procedures.
  • Perform engineering calculations, tests, and routine analyses.
  • Support operations and maintenance with problem identification and engineering-based resolution.
  • Prepare and present technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Assist other engineers on larger projects and contribute to development of goals, budgets, programs, and procedures.
  • Follow environmental, health, and safety rules to help maintain an accident-free workplace.
  • Occasionally direct or coordinate activities of co-ops, supervisors, or contractors as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve engineering problems from a business perspective.
  • Ability to follow established engineering methods and procedures and to learn organizational programs and systems.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and presentations.
  • Demonstrated attention to safety, environmental compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Willingness to support both routine and project-based engineering tasks; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Work Location & Remote

  • Assigned work location may be on-site, remote (telecommute), or a hybrid arrangement. The client reserves the right to set or change the assignment location.
  • If remote, occasional on-site presence may be required for face-to-face coordination.

Compensation

  • Estimated salary (from source): $87,325 per year — actual pay may vary based on level (I, II, III, Principal), experience, and location.
