Position Overview

Confidential Client (Engineering) is hiring an Engineer, Equipment to support operation, inspection, and basic maintenance of factory automation and logistics systems. This is an entry-level / early-career engineering role focused on hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continual improvement of equipment such as conveyors, lifts, ASRS, AGVs, shuttles, stacker cranes, and stockers.


What You’ll Do

  • Operate and assist in managing factory automation and logistics equipment
  • Support routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to restore stable operations
  • Assist with equipment optimization, small modification projects, and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate operational and maintenance documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to schedule repairs and upgrades
  • Participate in training and knowledge-transfer activities to grow technical skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related engineering field
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems (PLC, motors, sensors)
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office — Excel, Word) and the ability to learn maintenance tracking tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a teamwork mindset
  • Responsible, proactive attitude and willingness to learn on the job
  • Good communication skills; ability to follow written procedures and complete documentation accurately

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic familiarity with factory automation or material-handling/logistics equipment
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Siemens PLC programming/troubleshooting
  • Bilingual in English and Korean (a plus)
  • Prior internship or hands-on experience in a manufacturing or automation environment

  • Employment type: FULL_TIME
  • Estimated pay: $67,681 per year (estimated)
  • This position must meet all applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
