What You’ll Do

This role supports nuclear power generation operations at our confidential client’s facility. You will apply advanced engineering knowledge to analyze, design, and resolve electrical and instrumentation & control (I&C) system issues that impact plant safety, reliability, and performance.

  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and system problems for electrical and I&C systems.
  • Manage engineering tasks from initiation through completion, ensuring accuracy, configuration control, and compliance with applicable codes and procedures.
  • Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and plant reliability.
  • Recommend equipment, design changes, or procedural updates to improve performance, reduce cost, or comply with regulation changes.
  • Participate in outage support, emergency response, and cross-departmental coverage as required.

Minimum Qualifications

This position can be filled at Entry (E01), Mid-level (E02) or Senior (E03) Engineer level. Candidates will be evaluated against the minimum qualifications for the level to which they apply.

Entry Level — E01

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear).
  • Ability to meet and maintain site access requirements, including any medical or fitness-for-duty examinations necessary for unescorted access.

Mid-level — E02

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) plus a minimum of 2 years’ nuclear or related engineering experience.
  • Ability to meet and maintain site access requirements, including any required medical or fitness-for-duty examinations.

Senior — E03

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) plus a minimum of 5 years’ nuclear or related engineering experience.
  • Ability to meet and maintain site access requirements, including any required medical or fitness-for-duty examinations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Nuclear Modification Design Process (NMDP).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration or progress toward PE.
  • Advanced technical degree or relevant graduate coursework.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical distribution, control systems, and industry codes/regulations relevant to nuclear facilities.

Salary Range (Estimated)

Salary varies by experience level and is presented as annual ranges:

  • Entry-Level (E01): $87,000
  • Mid-Level (E02): $92,700 – $114,000
  • Senior (E03): $122,400 – $154,000

Ranges are estimates based on experience and include base salary; total compensation may include bonus and other benefits. Exact pay offered will comply with applicable state and local pay transparency requirements.


Location & Work Environment

This position is on-site at a nuclear power facility in Coatesville, PA. Candidates must be able to work at the plant and meet site-specific access, medical, and fitness-for-duty requirements. Occasional overtime, outage support, and emergency response duties may be required.
