What You’ll Do

You will join a site-based engineering team supporting production and equipment reliability at a confidential client’s Tennessee operations. This role blends hands-on troubleshooting, project delivery, and cross-functional collaboration to keep manufacturing systems safe and productive.

• Drive cross-disciplinary problem solving with engineering, maintenance and production teams
• Own engineering projects from concept through specification, procurement coordination, commissioning and closeout
• Design and implement mechanical and electrical solutions to improve uptime and safety
• Lead root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions for recurring equipment issues
• Support process-improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce variability
• Provide technical guidance to production and maintenance during start-ups, changeovers and emergency events

Qualifications

You have: (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical or related)
• 1 engineering internship OR 1 year of engineering-related experience
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or a related industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Office 365
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Electrical Engineer (CEE)
• Experience with equipment commissioning, PLCs, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting

• Estimated pay: $103,285 per year (estimated)
• Location: Alcoa, TN — onsite at the client’s Tennessee operations
