About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Energy Manager to support the development and execution of small to medium energy management programs as part of their Energy & Sustainability function. You will help implement sustainability and resilience plans, evaluate energy and water data, and support operational improvements that reduce consumption and cost across multiple facility types.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with sustainability consulting across varied facility types to meet client goals.
- Help create sustainability, resilience, and smart energy plans for buildings and portfolios.
- Identify and support implementation of operational improvements to improve energy and sustainability performance.
- Support energy resilience strategies and program deployment.
- Collect, review, and interpret energy, waste, and water data; prepare periodic status and variance reports.
- Integrate knowledge of energy procurement and emerging technologies with global energy platforms to drive performance improvements.
- Apply standard principles and techniques to solve complex assignments and recommend innovative solutions.
- Coach and share knowledge within the team; collaborate across related teams to influence outcomes.
- Communicate difficult or sensitive information clearly to stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
- The posting indicates 5–8 years of relevant experience (as listed by the client) — candidates with equivalent experience and demonstrated skills are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment using multiple sources of information and data analysis.
- Familiarity with energy procurement concepts and new energy technologies.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); comfort analyzing and presenting data.
- Organized, inquisitive mindset and willingness to take new perspectives on existing solutions.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
