What You’ll Do
The Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP) is a one-year, accelerated leadership track that prepares early-career professionals for a career in sales and outside sales leadership. You will work in a field-based role supporting a confidential client in the building products & distribution sector.
- Lead end-to-end territory management: develop territory strategy, identify opportunities, prioritize prospects, and drive customer engagement to accelerate revenue.
- Manage the full sales cycle for assigned accounts or segments: build and forecast pipeline, recommend pricing and product mix, and execute deals with appropriate autonomy.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve operational and commercial performance by analyzing data, identifying business challenges, and implementing strategic improvements.
- Own strategic workstreams that require evaluating complex problems, synthesizing market and customer insights, and proposing data-informed solutions.
- Participate in a cohort-based leadership program with individualized coaching, rotations, and mentorship aimed at preparing you for placement into Outside Sales roles.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (business, Supply Chain, or related field) OR 1–2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Energetic, goal-oriented communicator with a customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, field-based environment and willing to travel within the region.
- Demonstrated teamwork, eagerness to learn, and strong problem-solving instincts.
- Willingness to relocate or travel regionally for program rotations and future leadership placements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or work experience in B2B sales, distribution, or building materials.
- Experience with CRM or sales tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and an analytical, solutions-driven approach.
