Confidential Client is hiring for a one-year Emerging Leaders Development Program (ELDP) — Operations. The ELDP is a structured, rotational leadership program designed to develop future branch and operations leaders through on-the-job rotations, mentorship, and strategic projects across distribution and hands-on logistics operations.


What You’ll Do

You will participate in a year-long rotational program that builds operational and leadership capability across branch and regional operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive operational and strategic projects end-to-end using data to identify trends, resolve root causes, and improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience
  • Present insights and recommendations to regional and branch leaders to help shape business decisions
  • Hire, onboard, and develop new team members to strengthen branch performance
  • Recommend process, workflow, or resource changes to improve operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on forecasting, staffing, service levels, inventory health, and cost control
  • Lead or contribute to capstone leadership projects focused on inventory analysis, inventory management, or workforce enablement
  • Serve as a community engagement ambassador and build local partnerships
  • Champion technology and process improvements aligned with corporate initiatives

What You’ll Bring

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, Construction Management, or a related field; OR 1–2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for leading people and improving processes
  • Willingness to relocate or travel regionally for rotational assignments and future leadership roles
  • Interest in a long-term career in distribution, operations, or leadership

Preferred qualifications:

  • Internship or work experience in distribution, manufacturing, or retail operations
  • Analytical, customer-focused mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable learning technology-driven operational tools

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated pay (from source): $44,314 per year (estimated).
