What You’ll Do

This remote, email-first Customer Service role supports shoppers (this team will specifically support Canada) and focuses on resolving customer issues via email (~90%) with occasional chat (~10%). As a member of the support team you will:

• Review incoming support requests and clarify customer complaints
• Diagnose issues and determine root cause
• Update customer accounts and records accurately
• Recommend and explain appropriate solutions to customers
• Escalate and coordinate with internal teams and merchant affiliate networks when needed
• Expedite corrections, adjustments, and follow-ups to ensure resolution
• Document trends and recommend process improvements
• Provide on-the-job training for new hires when assigned
• Apply company policies to extend valued member bonuses where applicable

Who You Are (Minimum Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 1–3 years customer service experience (email/chat preferred); 2–3 years preferred
• Comfortable using CRM tools (experience with Zendesk or similar is a plus)
• Strong written communication and professional email etiquette
• Proficient problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good computer/typing skills (minimum 50 WPM required)
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
• Familiarity with online shopping and internet navigation

Nice to Have

• 55+ WPM typing speed
• Experience with data entry, retail, banking/teller work, or internet companies
• Prior experience supporting Canadian customers or cross-border support
• Experience coordinating with merchant/affiliate networks

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $16.00 per hour (Contract-to-Hire)

• This is a fully remote position (applicants must be located in the U.S.)
• The role is based out of Minneapolis, MN (for recordkeeping and compliance), but daily work is performed remotely
• Typical schedule will align with support coverage needs for Canadian customers; flexibility may be required
