Confidential Client is hiring an Elementary Teacher (Pre-K) to join a campus near Hockley, TX. This full-time, contract role follows the Teacher Pay Scale and is scheduled for approximately 187 annual work days. The position focuses on planning and delivering developmentally appropriate Pre-K instruction, managing classroom behavior, and supporting student growth.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned to district curriculum that reflect accommodations for diverse learners.
- Use varied instructional strategies, materials, and technology to meet the needs of Pre-K students.
- Assess student learning regularly (formal & informal) and use results to guide instruction.
- Collaborate with special education staff to adapt curricula per Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Plan, assign, and supervise work for instructional aides and volunteers.
- Maintain classroom records, manage student behavior in line with district policies, and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents, colleagues, and community members.
- Participate in staff development, faculty meetings, and school committees as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or completion of required training for the assigned subject/level.
- Demonstrated competency in the assigned core academic subject area.
- Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to instruct young children and manage classroom behavior.
Preferred / Helpful Qualifications
- ESL endorsement or certification (required for selected assignments).
- Experience planning differentiated instruction for early childhood learners.
- Familiarity with Texas Education Agency guidelines and district curriculum frameworks.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
- Frequent walking; regular light lifting and carrying (typically under 15 lbs).
- Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor duties and regular exposure to noise.
- Must maintain emotional control under stress and occasionally work irregular or extended hours.
- Tools: personal computer and standard instructional equipment; AED where applicable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary follows the Confidential Client’s Teacher Pay Scale; the published estimate for this role is $46,490/year (estimated).

Additional Information
Confidential Client follows district safety protocols and emergency procedures. This role includes supervisory responsibilities for assigned instructional aide(s). Candidates will be required to comply with state, district, and campus regulations for classroom teachers.
