What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Electronics Engineer I to support electrification and heavy-duty vehicle high-voltage electrical systems design. In this entry-level engineering role you will work under close supervision to perform calculations, support designs, and assist senior engineers to develop reliable, manufacturable electrical systems and components.
- Perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks following industry and company standards
- Support senior engineers with plans, designs, computation methods, and technical reporting
- Help design electrical parts/components to meet specifications while considering cost, reliability, and manufacturability
- Assist with prototype, pilot, and low-rate production builds and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
- Prepare engineering change notices, change proposals, and clear print/documentation
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external suppliers
- Contribute to testing, validation, and verification activities as directed
- Other duties as assigned; regular attendance required
Minimum Qualifications
- Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with internship experience OR six (6) months or more related work experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and follow engineering processes
- Strong attention to detail and basic problem-solving skills
Standout Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Familiarity with programming languages and controls software
- Knowledge of Controller Area Network (CAN) / SAE J1939 protocol
- Automotive high-voltage training or certifications
- Experience or coursework in power electronics, electric machines, and energy storage systems

Working Conditions
- Physical: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, hearing, talking, typing; occasional driving and fine/manual dexterity; rare lifting/pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs.
- Non-Physical: Frequent analytical tasks, sustained mental activity, reading and writing
- Environment: Combination of office, lab, and manufacturing floor exposure; routine shift hours with infrequent overtime or weekend work
- Some positions may require U.S. Person status for export-controlled technologies
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range (U.S.): $68,600.00 - $109,200.00 per year. Individual pay is based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and internal pay equity.
