Overview
Confidential client in Engineering is hiring an entry-level Electrical Integration Engineer to join a cross-functional team working on the design, integration, and test of electrical infrastructure with a focus on cable-plant architecture that supports embedded and mission-critical hardware. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers with coursework or initial hands-on exposure to wiring, harnesses, and electrical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Support design, integration, and testing of electrical infrastructure and cable-plant architecture for embedded systems
- Create and update electrical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and cable drawings
- Work with multi-discipline teams (mechanical, software, systems) to ensure electrical interfaces meet platform-level requirements
- Assist with connector/interface definition and management, and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across integrated electrical environments
- Support signal integrity and power distribution activities under guidance from senior engineers
- Use or learn harness/wiring design tools (e.g., CREO, Capital, or similar) to produce design deliverables
Preferred & Differentiating Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science/Engineering/Mathematics field
- Exposure to cable plant design and documentation through coursework or internships
- Foundational understanding of electrical integration concepts, connectors, and interfaces
- Familiarity with harness and wiring design tools such as CREO or Capital
- Coursework or experience in signal integrity and power distribution
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable drawings
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Interest in applying AI-driven approaches for continuous improvement and innovation

Clearance & Work Authorization
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable time after hire.
- Due to the nature of the work and facility access requirements, U.S. citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information.
- This requirement is based on federal contracting and national security regulations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Combined salary range (estimated): USD $77,843.00 - USD $86,358.00 per year.
