Confidential Client is seeking an Electrical Engineering New Graduate (December 2026 new graduate cohort) to join its Anaheim, CA office. This entry-level, in-office role offers hands-on MEP design experience supporting healthcare and building systems projects. You will work on electrical system design, calculations, and construction coordination with mentorship from experienced engineers while developing technical and consulting skills.

What You’ll Do
- Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems for buildings, producing drawings, specifications, and calculations that meet code and firm standards.
- Use engineering software and tools (lighting photometric tools, energy compliance tools, BIM, etc.) to support project deliverables.
- Support project execution as part of a multidisciplinary project team and help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Document design decisions, client instructions, and design progress; assist with QC and review processes.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and convey technical information clearly.
- Analyze low- to medium-complexity engineering tasks and propose solutions with guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical/plumbing engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver coordinated designs.
- Contribute to research and innovation by staying current on industry trends, energy-efficiency standards (MEP2050, AIA2030), and best practices.
- Prioritize safety and help identify/mitigate electrical system risks.
What You’ll Bring
Required education & experience
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Engineering in Training (EIT) or equivalent required.
Required skills & abilities
- Understanding of circuit theory, power systems, electromagnetism, and building electrical systems design principles.
- Familiarity with lighting photometric software (e.g., AGI, ElumTools, Visual Lighting, or similar).
- Experience or familiarity with energy compliance tools (e.g., ComCheck).
- Basic skill with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and familiarity with Bluebeam/Adobe for document review.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays.
Preferred
- Prior internship or co-op experience in building design consulting (MEP or electrical).
- EIT license strongly preferred.

State of California salary range: $83,000–$87,000 per year. The range above represents the good-faith base pay the client expects to pay for this role at the Anaheim, CA location. Final compensation will be based on experience, education, credentials, and other job-related factors. Additional rewards may include bonuses and stock/ownership benefits, plus a full benefits package.
