What You’ll Do

You will support the design, validation, and implementation of electrical systems for industrial lift trucks and related products. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll help translate vehicle-level requirements into robust system and component designs and test those systems in lab and field environments.

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for industrial vehicles with a focus on reliability and manufacturability
  • Translate vehicle-level requirements into detailed system and component specifications for new and existing products
  • Test and validate electrical components in lab settings and on prototype/production vehicles to meet quality standards
  • Troubleshoot electrical system issues using root-cause analysis and collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and test teams to resolve them
  • Create and maintain design documentation, system diagrams, and electrical schematics to support manufacturing and service teams
  • Support implementation of robotic and automation technologies into existing product platforms

Who You Are / Qualifications

This role is targeted at early-career engineers (recent graduates or those with limited professional experience) who are eager to apply core electrical engineering knowledge to heavy industrial and vehicle systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • Recent graduate or limited professional experience in electrical engineering
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and open to learning in a fast-paced environment

Skills & Technical Experience

  • Basic understanding of electrical components, circuits, control theory, power electronics, and electric motor drive concepts
  • Familiarity with battery management systems and vehicle-grade power systems
  • Ability to create system diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Experience or familiarity with automotive/industrial communication protocols such as CAN and J1939
  • Basic CAD/drafting skills and experience with design layouts and engineering analysis
  • Awareness of real-time control networks and embedded control system architecture
  • Willingness to operate forklift trucks (training provided if required)

  • Travel: 1–10% (field/testing as required)
