What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Electrical Engineering role focused on RF & microwave components in a hands-on, manufacturing-connected environment. Responsibilities include:
- Design passive RF and microwave components such as directional couplers, combiners, high-power RF components, and wideband microwave devices
- Develop RF circuit layouts and PCB designs, and support product development from concept through production release
- Perform electromagnetic (EM) simulations to design, validate, and optimize RF structures
- Build, evaluate and iterate on PCB prototypes
- Test RF and microwave circuits using network analyzers and other RF test equipment; collect and document test data
- Troubleshoot circuit and design performance issues and implement engineering changes
- Collaborate with manufacturing/fabrication teams to ensure successful builds and transitions to production
- Participate in customer and cross-functional technical discussions; translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required
- Coursework or project experience in RF circuits, microwave components, and electromagnetic theory
- Practical experience or coursework in PCB layout and basic electrical circuitry
- Ability to build and test prototypes and familiarity with RF test equipment (especially network analyzers)
- Knowledge of EM simulation tools or willingness to learn
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and clear written/verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and work in both engineering and manufacturing settings
- GPA 3.4+ preferred (for new graduates)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microwave Office or similar EM simulation software
- AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor exposure
- Internship, co-op, research, or project experience involving RF/microwave design
- Experience or exposure to manufacturing/product development environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $28.85 - $31.25 / hour (visible and required for New York posting compliance)

- Environment: Manufacturing-based engineering group; mid-sized team (~8 engineers); business casual; highly collaborative and hands-on; direct interaction with production teams and customers
