Confidential Client is hiring Electrical Engineers in Oklahoma City, OK to design building electrical systems across aviation, commercial, civic, tribal, federal, mission‑critical, and data center projects. This opening supports multiple experience levels (entry, EIT, mid, senior) and focuses on Revit-based documentation, coordinated MEP design, and high-quality construction deliverables.

What you’ll do
- Design and document electrical systems: power distribution, lighting and controls, emergency power, fire alarm, and low‑voltage infrastructure.
- Produce Revit-based construction documents: one-line diagrams, panel schedules, lighting layouts, specifications, and technical reports.
- Perform electrical engineering calculations: load calculations, voltage drop, short-circuit, arc-flash, and protective-device coordination.
- Apply NEC, NFPA, and other applicable codes to ensure safe, compliant designs.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and multi-discipline coordination sessions.
- Support QA/QC, construction administration, RFIs, submittals, and site observation.
- Mentor junior staff and lead technical efforts (mid/senior roles).

- Strong verbal and written communication with architects, contractors, clients, and multi-discipline teams.
- Problem-solving and judgement to evaluate technical options and tradeoffs.

Technical skills
- Revit and BIM for electrical systems documentation.
- Electrical design for building systems: power distribution, lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, low-voltage systems, and medium-voltage where applicable.
- Electrical analysis tools and studies: SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, or similar.
- Proficiency with NEC, NFPA, and industry best practices for arc‑flash, short‑circuit, and coordination studies.
- Ability to produce accurate one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and construction-level documentation.
Qualifications
Entry-Level
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred; 0–3 years relevant experience.
Mid-Level
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
- FE passed; pursuing PE preferred; ~5+ years of progressive electrical design experience.
Senior
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; 10+ years of electrical design experience.
- Proven Revit proficiency; experience with SKM, ETAP, EasyPower preferred.
- Strong background in MEP coordination and experience in aviation, mission‑critical, federal, civic, tribal, or commercial sectors is a plus.
