Confidential Client (a full-service architecture & engineering firm) is hiring an entry-level Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join their engineering team in Tuxedo, GA. This is a hands-on design role for a recent graduate ready to begin the PE track, work on power distribution and lighting systems, and collaborate across MEP and architectural disciplines.


What You’ll Do

As an Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) you will:

  • Support development of electrical design drawings and plans for commercial, institutional, and government projects
  • Perform load calculations, circuiting, and equipment selections for power distribution and lighting systems
  • Apply electrical codes, standards, and best practices to design work
  • Draft and review technical documentation, specifications, and design details
  • Coordinate electrical systems with architects and other engineering disciplines (mechanical, structural, civil)
  • Assist with field investigations, testing, and construction support when required
  • Work under licensed Professional Engineers with mentorship toward PE licensure

What We’re Looking For

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam passed by the start date
  • Eligible to work in the United States and able to obtain required security clearance for federal projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for client and team collaboration

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with Revit and basic BIM workflows
  • Familiarity with lighting design, power distribution, and load calculations
  • Interest in government or federal project work and PE licensure track

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $67,000 — $91,000 per year (listed range)
