Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer I (entry-level), you will support the full field coordination lifecycle across pre-construction, construction support, and closeout. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead submittal and Request for Information (RFI) processes for definable features of work (DFW), using PMA and Project Connect to closure
  • Review and distribute project design and engineering documents to relevant teams and subcontractors
  • Prepare and organize materials for Pre‑Mobilization Kickoff meetings
  • Compile, coordinate, and arrange short‑form subcontracts with local entities on site
  • Assist in drafting subcontracts and purchase agreements
  • Manage QA/QC tasks as defined in the Project Quality Plan
  • Coordinate DFW prep meetings, initial and follow‑up inspections, and punch list closeouts
  • Prepare and manage mechanical/electrical/plumbing coordination drawings, shop drawings, and as‑built drawings
  • Coordinate lift and formwork drawings as required for project work
  • Compile turnover documentation for DFW and transfer to the customer per project TSO and quality plans
  • Support final inspections and customer punch list processes for assigned DFW
  • Participate in project safety audits and champion the client’s Zero Injury Safety Program
  • Assist with scheduling and other project administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (degree conferred by summer 2027)
  • Willingness to be mobile and relocate frequently for project assignments based on business needs
  • Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (no visa sponsorship offered)
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer-focus skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced construction environments and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous related internship or co-op experience
  • Basic understanding of construction workflows and accepted business practices
  • Demonstrated collaboration, initiative, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
  • Positive professional attitude and strong customer service orientation
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple competing priorities

Employment Type & Timing

  • Employment type: Contract / Full time
  • Hiring window: candidates will be considered for project assignments starting in 2027 (project placement aligned to operating group and business needs)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $80,900 - $109,300 per year (position is eligible for a potential annual bonus). Base pay is positioned within the range based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Frequent mobility and travel to project sites may be expected depending on the operating group.
