What You’ll Do

Under the direct supervision of senior staff, you will support the Building Design team on electrical engineering projects. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the design of electrical systems, including lighting and power distribution
  • Prepare drawings and documentation using AutoCAD (and Revit when applicable)
  • Support design for government, military, commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional facilities
  • Coordinate with multi-discipline teams (architects, mechanical, structural)
  • Participate in design reviews, quality checks, and project meetings
  • Assist with specifications, calculations, and construction support as needed

Qualifications

Minimum requirements — candidates who meet these will be competitive for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • 0–4 years of relevant experience (prior internships preferred for recent grads)
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable managing multiple assignments and priorities
  • U.S. Citizenship required (see Additional Details below)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (good‑faith estimate): $70,000 — $125,000 per year
  • Employment type: Contract / Full-time
