Position summary
Confidential Client, a major North American power-generation organization, is seeking an Electrical Engineer - Controls to join their engineering team in Richland, WA. This role is open to candidates from entry-level through senior levels who have controls exposure or an electrical engineering background and want hands-on experience supporting plant projects and operations.

What You’ll Do
- Assist with electrical and controls engineering projects across the facility
- Support smaller projects and defined portions of larger capital or maintenance projects
- Investigate technical issues and develop cost-effective engineering solutions
- Assist with engineering studies, testing, and troubleshooting of systems
- Develop design recommendations and improved procedures
- Collaborate with engineers and plant personnel to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
- Electrical engineering background preferred
- Controls experience, education, or exposure (PLC, control logic, instrumentation fundamentals)
Preferred
- Internship or co-op experience in the energy or power-generation industry
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Experience with electrical, controls, instrumentation, or power-generation systems
Location & Employment Type
- Location: Richland, WA (on-site / plant environment)
- Employment type: Full-time or Contractor (role may be offered as either, per client needs)
