What You’ll Do
As an Electrical Engineer – Controls, you will work with engineers and plant operations personnel to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.
- Assist with electrical and controls engineering projects, from smaller tasks to defined portions of larger initiatives
- Troubleshoot and investigate technical issues; develop cost-effective corrective actions
- Support engineering studies, testing, and hands-on plant troubleshooting
- Prepare design recommendations and contribute to improved procedures and documentation
- Collaborate closely with multi-discipline teams in a structured power-generation environment
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
- Electrical engineering foundation preferred
- Controls experience, education, or exposure (PLC/controls coursework, lab work, or practical exposure)
Preferred
- Internship or co-op experience in the energy or power generation industry
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Experience with electrical, instrumentation, or power-generation control systems

Location: Boise, ID (onsite at a power generation facility; relocation assistance available)
