Position Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an early-career Electrical Engineer to join its Industrial & Water Engineering group in Centennial, CO. This entry-level role supports design and delivery of industrial and water projects. The ideal candidate will help establish and use departmental standards and tools, contribute to project deliverables, and grow technically and professionally while working closely with multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities
- Develop preliminary and detailed electrical engineering designs for industrial and water projects
- Perform load calculations and coordination studies using engineering tools (e.g., ETAP)
- Prepare technical reports, sketches, and concept documentation
- Maintain master specification and drawing sets; review vendor and discipline drawings for electrical content
- Apply engineering judgment and check designs for consistency, safety, operability, and maintainability
- Report project progress and issues to the Lead Engineer; participate in project meetings
- Learn and apply departmental design standards, applicable codes, and client guidelines
- Support miscellaneous tasks to advance project development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Master’s degree preferred
- 0–2 years of electrical design experience for industrial and/or water projects
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) preferred
- GPA above 3.0 preferred
- Proficient with CAD tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and MS Office
- Familiarity with ETAP or other power-system analysis tools is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel as business requires
- Regular, reliable attendance and ability to meet deadlines; willingness to work overtime/weekends as required
Compensation & Benefits
- Base compensation: $86,320 - $96,200 (actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and location)
