What You’ll Do

This entry-level Electrical Engineer, Associate (West Mifflin, PA) will support the development, deployment and life-cycle support of electronic hardware training products used in naval propulsion training programs for the confidential client.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support product life-cycle activities for existing and new electronic training products
  • Assist with technical planning, specification and detailed design of hardware and subsystems
  • Support procurement, fabrication oversight, assembly and test of training hardware
  • Perform system-level and component-level testing, troubleshooting, and verification
  • Coordinate installation and integration of training systems at customer sites
  • Prepare technical documentation, test reports and installation procedures
  • Communicate regularly with government customers, contractors, vendors and internal teams
  • Travel domestically as needed to support installations, testing, and fielding

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or science field from an accredited college or university (Master’s accepted)
  • U.S. citizenship (required for access to certain program work)
  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation and meet eligibility for access to classified matter where applicable
  • Ability to pass company-required drug testing (including federal restrictions on marijuana)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required

Preferred:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with electronic hardware, assembly, or test
  • Experience with product lifecycle support, procurement/fabrication coordination, or installation
