  • Support circuit card assembly (CCA) activities: schematic capture, PCB layout support, and detailed design documentation.
  • Perform circuit simulation and analysis using tools such as LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, NI Multisim, or MATLAB.
  • Use bench and RF test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, network/spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers) for bring-up and troubleshooting.
  • Support hardware operations, testing, and integration activities, and help maintain test procedures and design reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve interface issues and contribute to continuous improvement/DFM/DFT efforts.
  • Maintain accurate engineering change documentation and contribute to product lifecycle tracking.

Basic Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals (circuit analysis, electronics, electromagnetics).
  • Familiarity with CAD/EDA tools (Mentor Graphics/Cadence, SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360, or similar).
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with electrical/electronic systems (lab coursework, projects, or internships).
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on group projects and in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Legal authorization: This role is at a secured facility and requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. government Secret clearance (or meet eligibility requirements).

Desired Skills

  • Experience with digital and analog circuit design and simulation (PSPICE, LTSPICE, TINA-TI).
  • Knowledge of high-speed digital design and signal integrity (tools such as HyperLynx a plus).
  • Familiarity with microelectronics, transistor-level design, EMC/EMI principles.
  • Experience programming for engineering tasks (Python, C++, MATLAB).
  • Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill) and knowledge of IPC/IEEE/MIL-STD/VITA standards.
  • Hands-on experience with production/test equipment and an understanding of DFM/DFT practices.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-Time Salary Range: $58,200 – $108,200 per year (range provided by Confidential Client). Actual pay will depend on experience, education, and relevant skills.
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, employee assistance programs, flexible work schedules, education assistance, life and disability insurance, and performance-based incentive programs.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to meet requirements for a government security background investigation and obtain a Secret clearance as required by the program.

Why Join

This role offers strong exposure to practical electrical engineering tasks, mentorship from experienced engineers, and opportunities for career growth within confidential client programs in the defense/aerospace engineering sector.
