  • Support selection, specification, and integration of major electrical equipment—switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, breakers, relays, and associated systems.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—mechanical, civil/structural, controls, and designers—to convert engineering concepts into detailed drawings and constructible designs.
  • Participate in technical reviews, training sessions, and client-facing activities with operations and systems engineering representatives.
  • Perform onsite walkdowns, witness installation and testing, and support refueling outages and major project implementation when assigned.
  • Build experience with station-specific design, licensing-basis documentation, and client computer systems while learning quality and configuration-control processes.
  • Gain exposure to the professional licensure pathway (FE/PE) through mentorship and hands-on project work.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with strong coursework in power systems or related topics.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering principles and the practical application of systems, techniques, and procedures to project designs.
