Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Electrical Engineer (Onsite) for their engineering team in Uniontown, OH. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting the design, prototyping, test, and sustainment of electronic control systems used in aerospace products. U.S. citizenship is required for this role.


What You’ll Do

You will join a multidisciplinary team working on control electronics for aerospace systems. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Support design, development, and documentation of electronic control systems.
  • Build, prototype, debug, and evaluate electronic hardware.
  • Plan, execute, and document qualification and validation testing.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, collect and analyze test data, and clearly communicate results.
  • Design, build, and maintain electrical test fixtures and tools used in development and manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot electronic circuits using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other lab equipment.
  • Support sustaining engineering activities for products in production.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians while receiving mentorship and hands-on training.

Qualifications — You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major completed by the start date.
  • Practical experience with laboratory equipment, collecting/analyzing test data, and communicating results. (Experience may come from coursework, research, internships, co-ops, or projects.)
  • U.S. citizenship (required for this role due to program/contract needs).

Qualifications — We Prefer

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on electronics experience (design, prototyping, soldering, debugging) from coursework, internships, or projects.
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and common electronic test equipment.
  • Interest in laboratory testing, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
  • Clear technical documentation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range (good-faith estimate): $57,200 — $108,800 USD per year.
  • Typical estimated compensation shown on some sources: ~$128,587 per year (estimate).
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending, paid time off, parental leave, and potential incentive compensation depending on role and business unit. Specific benefits vary by business unit and employment terms.
