What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join a hybrid engineering team in Tega Cay, SC. In this role you will contribute to engineering design for nuclear products with a focus on electrical system design, instrumentation & controls (I&C), and system wiring. You will develop engineering design documents such as calculations and specifications while working with cross-functional engineering teams.

• Use software packages such as Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice (or equivalents)
• Learn and apply new engineering software and tools
• Provide electrical system design, I&C design, and develop system wiring deliverables
• Produce engineering calculations, specifications, and other design documentation
• Coordinate with peer engineers to obtain technical input and resolve issues
• Plan and schedule assigned work to meet project requirements
• Apply standards, procedures, and engineering techniques to ensure designs meet quality and safety criteria

Qualifications

Applicants should meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (role may have security or client-site requirements)
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
• Basic practical knowledge from core college courses; able to work independently on entry-level assignments
• Familiarity (or willingness to learn) Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice or similar engineering tools
• Ability to follow engineering standards and develop clear calculations/specifications

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated base salary range: $58,400 to $73,000 per year (range dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills)

Workplace & Location

• This is a hybrid role based in Tega Cay, SC. (Local worksite and hybrid schedule details will be provided by Confidential Client.)
• Travel to client sites is required at times.
