What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Electrical Engineer role focused on digital hardware used in high-performance computing products for commercial avionics platforms. You will join the client’s engineering team to design, verify, and support digital circuit boards and modules used in processing computers and network switch products.
- Use electrical engineering principles to design, document, verify, troubleshoot, and support digital hardware for avionics products.
- Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Environmental Effects, Manufacturing/Operations, and Design-to-Cost teams to meet requirements across the product lifecycle.
- Work with digital logic components (ASIC/FPGA/CPLD), processors, and memory subsystems.
- Support production issues and sustainment activities as needed.
- Perform schematic capture reviews and contribute to design documentation and verification artifacts.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM major completed by the start date.

Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of digital circuit design parameters (throughput, rise time, clocking, propagation delay).
- Familiarity with computer hardware components: processors, memory, interfaces, and timing characteristics.
- Experience with schematic capture for digital/mixed-signal designs.
- Understanding of PCB layout and routing rules for high-speed digital designs.
- Experience interfacing with embedded devices (processors, graphics, FPGA).
- Experience with bus and link technologies such as Ethernet, I2C, USB, LVDS, SERDES.
- Experience with DDR memory interfaces.
Work Location, Clearance & Compensation
- Work location: Onsite in Marlborough, MA (candidates must be able to work primarily onsite).
- Security clearance: Not required for this role.
- Relocation: Relocation eligibility may apply.
- Salary range (good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels): $57,200 - $108,800 per year.
