What You’ll Do

Our confidential client is looking for an EIT Structural Engineer to join a growing Building Structures team. You will work with senior engineers and BIM staff on a variety of building projects and client types. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Develop skills as a project engineer by assisting with delivery, design, and detailing under the guidance of senior staff
  • Perform structural design calculations and produce plan documentation for submittals
  • Support and lead structural construction-phase tasks as required
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams in meetings and presentations
  • Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction
  • Mentor and support entry-level engineers as part of a team-focused environment

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate
  • 1.5+ years of structural engineering experience on new and existing building projects (concrete, steel, masonry, wood)
  • Experience with Revit and ability to produce drawings/details when needed
  • Familiarity with structural analysis/design tools such as RISA, RAM Structural System, ETABS, MathCAD, TEDDS, ENERCALC, or similar
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a growth-oriented mindset

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000
