What You’ll Do

This is a hybrid Editorial Assistant + Customer Support role that balances student-facing phone support with editorial, AI audio, and video-production tasks. Typical day is roughly split between phone support/enrollment and editorial/media work.

  • Student Support & Enrollment (approx. 4 hours/day)

  • Answer inbound phone calls with courteous, professional phone etiquette.

  • Assist California real estate agents and brokers with course enrollments and website navigation.

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date guidance on Department of Real Estate (DRE) licensing and continuing education requirements.

  • Adjust priorities to spend more time on phones when call volume or staff outages require it.

  • Editorial, AI Audio & Video Production (approx. 4 hours/day)

  • Use text-to-speech / AI audio tools to generate audiobook versions of course materials.

  • Perform close-listener quality assurance comparing AI-generated audio to edited manuscripts — audit pronunciation, inflection, and handling of industry-specific jargon and acronyms.

  • Collaborate with editorial staff to write clear, engaging educational copy and consumer-facing marketing materials that licensees can adapt to grow their businesses.

  • Participate as an on-set, non-speaking background contributor for in-house, high-production video course recordings (green-screen studio).

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Exceptional phone communication and a student-focused, service-oriented mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail — strong proofreading and listening skills.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable; eagerness to learn AI audio generation software, digital audio workflows, and modern office applications.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera as a background participant for training videos.
  • Collaborative team player who works well with customer service staff, writers, videographers, designers, and engineers.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (English, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related fields).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to commute to the Riverside, CA office as required.

Location & Schedule

  • Location: Riverside, CA (hybrid role — on-site presence required for phone support, studio recordings, and collaboration days).
  • Typical schedule: Full-time, approximately 8 hours/day split between student support and editorial/media work (schedule may vary with call volume or production needs).
  • Estimated pay (from source listing): $42,307 per year (estimated).

What You’ll Gain / Why Apply

  • Hands-on experience in publishing, AI-assisted media production, marketing content creation, and real estate regulatory operations.
  • High-visibility, entry-level opportunity with meaningful growth and skill-development potential.
  • Cross-functional exposure working alongside editorial, production, marketing, and engineering teams in the real estate education and multi-media publishing space.
