Role overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Early Career Talent Partner to own intern, entry-level, and early-career hiring for the Technology & Platform organization. You will build pipelines of software-engineering talent, strengthen relationships with technical student groups, represent the employer brand at campus and virtual events, and partner with engineering leaders to design effective technical assessments and interview processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute a campus recruitment strategy for the Technology & Platform team covering undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Source and build talent through hackathons, coding competitions, student developer clubs, and technical events.
  • Design, run, and iterate technical assessments and coding challenges in partnership with engineering hiring managers.
  • Evaluate early-career engineering skill and problem-solving ability (focus on real skill signals, not AI-assisted outputs).
  • Manage full-cycle campus recruiting: resume screening, phone/video screens, technical assessments, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and handoff to People Operations for onboarding.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with computer science and engineering departments, student orgs, and faculty.
  • Represent Confidential Client at campus visits, info sessions, and virtual open houses.
  • Drive diversity and inclusion efforts in campus hiring through targeted partnerships and events.
  • Measure and analyze the ROI of campus programs (hackathons, clubs, partnerships) and optimize engagement strategies.
  • Improve processes by recommending systematization and automation to scale early-career hiring.
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate and hiring-manager experience that communicates the company’s values to technical audiences.

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years of recruitment experience, ideally focused on intern, entry-level, and early-career talent in fintech, large tech, or financial services.
  • Demonstrable success recruiting at multiple universities and competitive technical markets.
  • Comfortable discussing technical concepts and evaluating engineering skill signals with technical audiences (hackathon organizers, CS faculty, engineers).
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting operations: resume review, screens, scheduling, and offers.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel during peak campus recruiting seasons (fall and spring) for hackathons and career events.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive change with urgency.
  • Analytical and organizational skills with experience using recruitment and market data to inform strategy.
  • Experience coordinating both in-person and virtual recruiting events.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Passion for candidate experience, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Base salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and standard benefits (health, retirement, paid time off) — specifics provided by the hiring organization.
  • Employment type: Full-time or Contractor (as posted).
  • Work schedule: Regular business hours with occasional nights/weekends during events.
  • Travel: Occasional travel for off-site events, conferences, and job fairs as required.
  • Physical requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods and to lift up to 30 pounds when necessary.
  • Sponsorship: Not available for this position.
