What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an Early Career Talent Partner to lead early-career and campus recruiting for the Trading organization. You will own strategy and execution for sourcing quantitative and trading-adjacent early talent, build relationships with academic programs and student groups, and partner with Trading leadership to deliver a reliable pipeline of high-potential hires.
- Execute the early-career recruitment strategy for the Trading department, influencing campus recruiting cycles for undergraduate and graduate candidates
- Represent Confidential Client at collegiate trading competitions, poker tournaments, and industry networking events as primary sourcing and employer-brand channels
- Build and maintain relationships with campus trading groups, investment clubs, quant/finance student organizations, faculty, program directors, and alumni networks
- Create and deepen pipelines with academic programs (financial mathematics, financial engineering, quantitative research, applied math, statistics) that feed trading and quant roles
- Manage full-cycle campus recruiting for Trading roles: screen resumes, run phone screens, coordinate interviews, support Super Day logistics, and manage offers in partnership with People Operations
- Partner with Trading hiring managers to translate evolving skill needs (quantitative reasoning, probability, market intuition) into sourcing strategies and evaluation criteria
- Present internship programs and early-career development paths during campus visits and virtual events
- Analyze engagement ROI from competitions, clubs, and academic partnerships and iterate on outreach tactics
- Deliver a high-touch candidate and hiring-manager experience that articulates Confidential Client’s culture and values to a quantitative audience
- Measure recruiting results, identify process improvements, and drive systematization and automation where appropriate
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally focused on interns, entry-level, and early-career hires in fintech, financial services, or related fields
- Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting skills: resume review, phone screens, interview coordination, and offer management
- Proven success recruiting at multiple universities in competitive markets — experience with quantitative trading, prop trading, or finance is a plus
- Comfort discussing quantitative and markets-adjacent concepts (probability, statistics, game theory) with faculty, competition organizers, and student groups
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel during peak campus recruiting seasons (fall and spring) for competitions, conferences, and campus events
- Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience coordinating both in-person and virtual recruiting events
- Comfortable working with recruitment and market data, reporting, and analytics
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ability to sit and concentrate for long periods and to lift up to 30 pounds

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
- Certain positions may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Employees have access to a benefits package (details available from the hiring organization upon request).
Location, Schedule & Travel
- Location: Schiller Park, IL (on-site expectations vary by team)
- Work schedule: Regular business hours with occasional nights and weekends as needed
- Travel: Occasional travel for campus events, competitions, and conferences during recruiting seasons
