What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Early-Career Software Engineer focused on AI applications. In this entry-level engineering role you will contribute to building, testing, and deploying AI-driven software components under the guidance of senior engineers and research staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (researchers, engineers, product) to translate AI/ML ideas into reliable software.
- Contribute to development of prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production features that support AI applications.
- Write well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Help validate models and ensure integration of model outputs into application workflows.
- Troubleshoot issues in development and staging environments; support basic deployment tasks and documentation.
Who You Are (Minimum qualifications)

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong interest in AI/ML applications and software development.

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team.
- Right to work in the United States; this role is based in Indiana.
Nice to Have
The following are advantages but not required for consideration:
- Experience contributing to software projects (class projects, internships, open source).
- Familiarity with ML model lifecycle concepts (training, evaluation, inference, deployment).
- Experience with software version control and collaborative development workflows.
