Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring for Distribution/Dispatch engineering positions at entry through senior levels. This role contributes to power distribution planning, analysis, and routine engineering projects supporting safe, reliable service. Positions are full-time and on-site in Corpus Christi, TX.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide engineering support to analyze and resolve well-defined distribution and dispatch problems.
  • Assist higher-level engineers with portions of more complex studies and projects.
  • Apply and learn standards, codes, and regulations relevant to distribution systems and operations.
  • Prepare routine project planning inputs, progress updates, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with peers and other groups to complete assigned engineering tasks.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation.
  • Use initiative to identify improvements, document findings, and present ideas to the team.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; request clarification when needed.

Responsibilities & Scope

  • Support routine engineering analyses and contribute to system planning and reliability projects.
  • Follow established policies and procedures while developing subject-matter familiarity.
  • Monitor schedule and recommend actions to keep projects on track.
  • Participate in team decision-making and take on incremental leadership responsibilities as skills develop.
  • Maintain awareness of customer impacts and pursue solutions that balance reliability, safety, and cost.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Engineer Associate: bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program is the standard for entry-level placement.
  • Acceptable alternatives (equivalency considered):
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a current Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state; or
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a master’s or PhD in engineering from a school that has an ABET-accredited bachelor’s program.
  • Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam (or actively preparing) is encouraged and preferred.
  • Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, organization, and initiative.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay bands (representative):
    • Engineer Associate: $86,000
    • Engineer: $85,000 – $105,000
    • Engineer Sr: $101,000 – $120,000
  • Posted compensation range (company data): $74,551 – $128,688 per year.

Location & Work Type

  • Work location: Corpus Christi, TX (on-site).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
