What You’ll Do
This Distribution Center HR Coordinator supports a Distribution Center (DC) HR function focused on employee relations, recruiting, training, time & attendance, and payroll-related administrative tasks. You will be the primary HR contact for DC team members and work closely with operations and shared-services HR teams to deliver timely, compliant HR support.
- Partner with team members and DC leadership to communicate HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment law.
- Handle employee relations inquiries and casework, including investigations, documentation, and corrective action recommendations.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and propose targeted improvements.
- Support recruitment for entry-level hourly and technical roles: screen applicants, conduct interviews, and coordinate selection steps.
- Deliver new-hire orientation and DC-specific onboarding.
- Facilitate and provide training for DC team members and front-line supervisors.
- Maintain team-member recognition programs and assist with morale/engagement initiatives.
- Support time & attendance and payroll processes (KRONOS, ADP) and collaborate with SSC/Payroll for issue resolution.
- Assist HR Manager and Operations with unemployment claims and compliance matters.
- Participate in safety investigations and support enforcement of workplace policies.
Schedule & Location
- Location: North Little Rock / Maumelle, AR 72113 (Distribution Center)
- Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Employment Type: Full‑time
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a Human Resources role (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, recruiting, or HR generalist duties.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with ADP payroll systems and KRONOS/timekeeping.
- Working knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance relevant to hourly and warehouse environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coach employees and managers through sensitive or complex issues.
- Analytical skills to research issues and recommend effective solutions.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Normal office environment with regular presence required in a warehouse/distribution center setting.
- May be exposed to temperature variation, dust, and typical warehouse activity.
- Physical requirements may include sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Compensation
- Estimated base: $38,206 per year (estimated). Actual compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications. Any specific state pay-transparency requirements will be followed where applicable.
