Data Analyst
The Director of Real-World Data & Epidemiology Analytics leads the design, execution, and communication of observational studies using diverse real-world data to support clinical development and health policy decisions. This role provides strategic leadership, technical expertise, and mentorship while advancing AI-driven analytics and infrastructure within a cross-functional team. The position is based onsite in Princeton with hybrid remote work flexibility.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the design, execution, analysis, and reporting of observational and epidemiologic studies using diverse real-world data (RWD) sources to generate evidence for clinical development, market access, HTA, and policy decisions.
- Collaborate with asset leaders to define evidence needs, conduct feasibility assessments, and select appropriate RWD sources (claims, EHR, registries, patient-reported data, genomics, SDOH, clinical notes).
- Provide methodological leadership across study lifecycle: protocol development, statistical analysis plans, analytic datasets, programming, quality control, and final reporting.
- Apply advanced epidemiologic and causal inference methods (survival analysis, IPTW, MAIC, regression, causal modeling) and advise cross-functional stakeholders on interpretation and implications.
- Partner with health economics teams on survival and economic modeling to support HTA and reimbursement activities.
- Drive pilots and scale pragmatic AI/ML applications into routine RWD analytics while ensuring reproducibility, data security, and regulatory/scientific standards.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to RWD & epidemiology scientists and programmers; define standardized processes, governance, and documentation practices.
- Work with data engineering and DD&AI partners to evolve analytics infrastructure, streamline pipelines, and enable reproducible, auditable analyses.
- Present study designs, interim results, and final findings to technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex analyses into actionable insights for clinical, commercial, and strategic decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree (PhD or Master’s) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in real-world evidence generation and epidemiology analytics.
- Demonstrated expertise in observational study design and advanced statistical methods.
- Hands-on statistical programming experience in SAS, R, or Python.
- Experience working with real-world claims and/or EHR data and familiarity with data provenance and quality assessment.
- Practical knowledge of survival analysis, causal inference (IPTW, MAIC), and related epidemiologic approaches.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks applied to RWD analytics.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor technical staff in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology experience or experience in a therapeutic-area context relevant to the client’s portfolio.
- Demonstrated commercial and clinical strategic mindset.
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications or recognized research contributions.

Work Arrangement & Schedule
- Location: Princeton, New Jersey, United States (onsite primary).
- Onsite with flexibility to work away from the office up to 20%–40% of a typical schedule (per role policy and manager approval).
- Employment type: Full-time (regular U.S. employees referenced in benefits information).
Compensation & Benefits
- Proposed U.S. salary range: $231,280–$346,920 (actual compensation will consider skills, experience, and location).
