Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join their ABA therapy team in Shakopee, MN. This is a full-time, daytime role working one-on-one with children (approximately 18 months to 8 years) using play-based ABA therapy. Paid training and fully covered Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification are provided.

• Location: Shakopee, MN (1308 Greenwood Ct area)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (optional Saturdays as needed)
• Employment type: Full-time
• Start: Immediate openings available
• Hiring timeline: Applicants typically receive a response within 24 hours

Compensation

• Bachelor’s Degree: $20.00 – $25.50 per hour
• Master’s Degree: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
• First raise after earning RBT certification

What You’ll Do

You’ll deliver play-based ABA therapy and support skill development using individualized treatment plans. Typical duties include:

• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect session data
• Engage children through play, reading, movement, and hands-on activities
• Maintain an organized, safe therapy environment
• Stay active and engaged during sessions (frequent sitting/standing, getting on/off the floor)
• Collaborate with a supportive clinical team
• Occasional coverage support at nearby clinics as needed

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Bachelor’s Degree (proof of degree required — diploma or official transcript; offers contingent on verification)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable with frequent transitions between sitting, standing, crouching, and floor-level interaction
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
• Team-oriented mindset

• No prior ABA experience required — paid training provided
• Paid RBT certification fully covered
• Experience that is a plus (not required): childcare, paraprofessional roles, behavioral health technician, tutoring, psychology/child development coursework
