What You’ll Do

Come join Confidential Client as a Direct Service Worker supporting individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. In this entry-level, full-time role you will work with a multidisciplinary team to supervise and support the daily activities of program residents, follow individualized plans to increase independence, and help clients integrate into the community.

  • Participate in development of treatment plans and attend treatment and weekly staff meetings
  • Document progress toward treatment goals and maintain accurate daily notes
  • Perform interventions that build client skills and support identified goals
  • Provide linkage and communication with other program staff and external service providers
  • Monitor and document medication administration
  • Assist clients with household tasks, finances and community integration efforts
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, role-modeling and supervision to residents
  • Ensure a clean, safe, home-like environment and remain alert during shifts
  • Provide crisis intervention and access emergency services when needed
  • Complete required paperwork, reports and trainings within division timelines
  • Attend and maintain required certifications (CPR/First Aid, Crisis Management, MAP)

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (or HS Diploma + 1 year related experience)
  • Excellent interpersonal, judgment and coaching skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use basic computer applications for documentation
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle, and be willing to transport clients as needed
  • Demonstrated competence and cultural sensitivity serving diverse populations is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-centered, team-oriented environment

Schedule & Compensation

  • Starting rate: $18.50 / hour (estimated annual equivalent shown on source: approx. $37,099)
  • Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Employment type: Full-time
