What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Direct Service Worker to support residents in a social‑work residential program. This is an entry‑level, hands‑on role working with individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance‑use challenges.

  • Supervise daily activities and provide consistent support, guidance and role‑modeling to program residents
  • Follow individualized treatment plans and document progress toward goals
  • Monitor and document medication administration and safe storage procedures
  • Assist residents with finances, community integration, and accessing local services
  • Participate in treatment planning, staff meetings, and communication with other providers
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and home‑like environment for residents
  • Provide crisis intervention and access emergency services when needed
  • Complete required paperwork, reports and trainings within established timelines
  • Remain alert and engaged during scheduled shifts

Schedule & Compensation

  • Starting pay: $18.50 / hour (estimated annual pay: $34,504)
  • Schedule: Thursday–Monday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Employment type: Full‑time

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree OR High school diploma + 1 year related experience accepted
  • Valid driver’s license, access to an operational and insured vehicle, and willingness to transport clients as needed
  • Strong interpersonal, judgment and coaching skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑centered, team environment
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and comfort serving diverse populations is strongly preferred

Required Training & Certifications

  • Maintain required certifications and core trainings (examples: CPR/First Aid, Crisis Management, MAP or equivalent) as directed by the program
