What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Digital Process Engineer to support site-level digital/IT operations for manufacturing. In this role you will drive the operational interface between IT and plant teams, help provision cloud and on-prem resources, automate processes, and deliver digital solutions that reduce downtime and create value across Business Intelligence, Data, Transactional Systems, Automation Systems, and Web Applications.

  • Lead technical incident response and drive issues to resolution in collaboration with local and global teams.
  • Troubleshoot applications, compute platforms, networking, and data acquisition systems affecting operations.
  • Own change-management and implementation activities for digital projects at the site—ensure changes are tested, documented, and executed with quality.
  • Provision and enable cloud and infrastructure resources to support operational transformation and business continuity.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to streamline tasks, data flows, and reporting.
  • Act as the primary Digital lead for the site—align digital priorities with site leadership and global GBS objectives.
  • Build and maintain tools and dashboards that improve visibility, operational performance, and resiliency.
  • Execute systemic remediation of recurring digital issues identified by policy, stewardship, or operational impact analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Incident Management: lead cross-functional technical incident resolution.
  • Technical Mastery: troubleshoot applications, compute, networking, and data interfaces.
  • Change Management: plan and deliver site-level digital changes with minimal operational disruption.
  • Continuous Improvement: propose and implement solutions that increase efficiency and reduce loss.
  • End-to-End Digital Ownership: ensure digital systems support site priorities and global requirements.
  • Collaboration: work closely with Power, Controls, Information Systems, Cybersecurity (OT), and Product Supply functions.
  • Value Creation: administer and document improvements that generate measurable site value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated applied IT skills from prior roles, internships, or academic projects.
  • Experience working with complex systems and data acquisition in a manufacturing or industrial setting is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Power BI (or similar BI tools) is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with cultural awareness and a willingness to share insights.
  • Ability to define and lead work to improve team dynamics, IT practices, or site-level processes.
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in the Forkston / Mehoopany, PA area.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $85,000 - $122,200 per year (range provided by the client).
  • Total rewards typically include base salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits; exact compensation depends on location, role level, experience, and credentials.

Location & Schedule

  • Onsite: Forkston / Mehoopany, Pennsylvania (MEHOOPANY PLANT).
  • Schedule: Full-time, onsite 5 days/week.
