Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Walnut, CA supporting a Confidential Client in the Wellness & Consumer Products industry. This entry-level position (1–2 years experience) plans, executes, and optimizes digital campaigns across channels to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. You will manage social platforms, support product launches and promotions, analyze web & campaign performance, and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (social, email, SMS, paid social).
- Manage social media accounts: content calendars, community engagement, and social advertising.
- Execute customer-facing communications via email and SMS, including writing subject lines, preview text, and short-form copy.
- Build, implement, and maintain CRM automations and lifecycle marketing workflows.
- Segment CRM audiences using behavioral, demographic, and psychographic data to improve targeting.
- Monitor campaign and CRM performance using web analytics; produce weekly reports with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with product, design, and sales teams to develop marketing assets and ensure brand alignment.
- Identify optimization opportunities and recommend data-driven improvements for ongoing campaigns.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in digital marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
- Practical knowledge of social media marketing and content planning.
- Hands-on experience with web analytics (Google Analytics or similar) and reporting.
- Familiarity with email/SMS marketing platforms, CRM segmentation, and automation tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO and paid social fundamentals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in wellness, sustainable products, and consumer technology is preferred.
- Graphic design skills are a plus.
- Mandarin language skills are a plus.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling based on business needs.
- Must be available for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by campaigns or launches.
- This is an on-site role based in Walnut, CA.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20/hr to $25/hr (hourly range)
- Health insurance eligibility after the probationary period.
