The Digital Marketing Assistant supports Confidential Client's Digital Experience team by maintaining and optimizing digital guest touchpoints including the mobile app, website, loyalty program, and third-party delivery platforms. What You’ll Do
This entry-level Digital Marketing Assistant role supports the Digital Experience team to keep customer-facing digital channels accurate, up-to-date, and performing well. You’ll work closely with the Digital Program Manager and Jr. Analyst (Loyalty & Marketing) to help set up campaigns, QA content, gather reporting data, and escalate issues that affect the guest experience.
- Monitor and respond to app reviews, customer feedback, and support tickets to facilitate timely resolution.
- Maintain and update content across the mobile app, website, loyalty platform, and third‑party delivery channels (menus, pricing, descriptions, images, store info).
- Run routine audits to confirm content and pricing match across App, Web, Loyalty, and Delivery.
- Assist with platform and store onboarding: platform setup, testing, and launch readiness checks.
- Pull and prepare weekly/monthly reporting data; analyze trends using Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
- Document, escalate, and track customer-facing digital issues with clear reproduction steps.
- Support local SEO updates and keep local business listings accurate when requested by the team or agency partners.
- Participate in usability and process improvement initiatives to improve digital content accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Tasks
- App customer experience support: investigate app-related issues, coordinate fixes, and communicate updates to internal teams and franchise partners.
- Content accuracy & upkeep: keep menus, pricing and product details consistent across platforms.
- Testing, listings & reporting: run QA tests, audit listings, document issues, and provide data for reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, or related field — OR equivalent practical experience.
- 1+ years of relevant experience required (internships, co-ops, campus work, freelance projects and coursework count).
- Agency experience supporting multiple projects/clients is highly preferred.
- Experience in restaurant, QSR, retail, or eCommerce environments (digital ordering, loyalty, POS) is a plus.
- Exposure to CMS, CRM, loyalty platforms, campaign-management or website platforms preferred.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable juggling multiple small tasks and deadlines; clear written and verbal communication.
- Proficient with Excel — VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic web coding (HTML/CSS) is a strong plus.
- Backend experience with third‑party delivery platforms (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub) or POS systems is helpful.
- Fluency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Collaborative, coachable, and willing to ask smart questions.

Location, Schedule & Employment Type
- Work location: Buena Park, CA (in-person). This position requires being on-site five (5) days per week at the Buena Park campus. No relocation assistance is offered.
- Employment type: Contract, Part-time.
- Salary: $52,000 - $58,000 per year.
